I got the first book of the series, Raising Ryann, for free and then bought the whole series because it was cheaper than buying the second and third book separately. I'm really glad I did because these books were addicting! I couldn't put them down! Just a FYI - this series is definitely for adults.Product details

This book has it all, 2 very strong lead characters both battling with their demons whilst having this past connection. Over the 3 books you are taken on a journey that at times I didn't want to go on. I wanted my HEA but I stuck with it and I'm so glad that I did! I'm not going to put any spoilers in here but what I will say is stick with it even if you have to shout and threaten to throw your kindle across the room you will enjoy the end result!
Looking for that story that just sucks you in and keeps you captive with the characters? Well meet Luke Ryann. MMA fighter, hot tempered and play boy, who once saved a girl and never stopped thinking about her. Now years later he is back working at the gym his foster parents own, when he walks in and sees that girl from so many years ago.
Reese, has had a some what tough life surviving an abusive father and then an even more abusive step father she grew up strong. She teaches self defense at a gym so that young girls can learn to defend themselves. She never forgot the boy that rescues her, and now she is faced with a much larger problem. Luke Ryann is back and she doesn't know how to handle the heat that he generates from just one look at her.
I loved reading this series of a reformed bad boy and how much he loves Reese. There is drama, suspense, heat, passion and so much love that your heart will burst. He is gentle and caring and she is loving and strong willed. Together they make one hell of a romance story that will suck you in and devour your heart.
This series is definitely one of my new favorites! The author does a great job telling an intriguing love story, and has created a unique story line in bringing the two main characters together.
Luke Ryann is an ex MMA fighter, and Reese teaches a self-defense class. When they are paired up to work together, Luke soon realizes that they had met several years before, under traumatic circumstances. Although the sexual chemistry is there, they both attempt to fight their feelings.
I don't want to give too much away about the story, but what I will say is that one of the things that I really enjoyed about this book was the dialogue. There is a lot of humor and banter between many of the characters, and it makes the story and characters both very believable and relatable.
I also like that it's not just fluff and romance. There are some other things going on in the story -- a little bit of action, a little bit of danger, heroism, and secrets that will eventually surface. There are definitely some sexy scenes too; although nothing that is overly graphic.
I enjoyed the love story between Luke and Reese, and the author tends to play with the readers' emotions by pushing these two characters together and then pulling them apart several times. But, hey, that's nothing new, right? ;) The sexual chemistry/tension is so vivid, that I felt like I was feeling what the characters were feeling. I was completely drawn into these characters, and I felt like I really cared about them and got to know them. I was sad when the series was over.
Be prepared to purchase all three books, because you will simply NEED to know what happens to these two characters! I was away with my husband for our three-year anniversary, and read this series in a few days. It was just the kind of romance I was looking to read while on vacation!
I know the series is completely, but I'll definitely be looking for anything new Alyssa Rae Taylor writes!

These characters were truly amazing and made you feel connected to the story. This author had a way of drawing her readers in. The characters had so many layers to them. They went through many ups and downs and I only hoped they had an HEA! I'm not spoiling that for you - you need to buy the book to find out!
I absolutely loved Luke!! He was amazing and so protective of Reese. Were they made to be together? Would they be able to resist each other? I just couldn't seem to get enough to read their full story! I also really loved Logan and Gia too - they were funny and great add to the other characters.
Look forward to reading more from this author!!!
I love the story between Luke & Reese. Soon has I started reading it, I just kept reading. I love the characters. Although I got to say I hated Sean he was such a dick to her because of his insecurities. I love how Luke did everything to protect Reese and he never gave up on getting her back till he had her back! I was so happy when she went to Vegas after there fight and married Luke! ) The ending to the book was great. I can't wait to her Story's and Jax's story.

Amazing Series! I need to read it from beginning to End again bc I'm sure I missed some pretty cool stuff that ties all three together! Can't wait for the next series by this writer )
